Which data I collect, and why
- Orders: name, address, email address, country and, if you fill it in, your phone number and a note. I need these to deliver your order, to send you updates about it and for my bookkeeping (legal basis: performing the agreement and my legal obligation).
- Payments: the payment status and method of your order. Your bank or card details are handled by the payment provider and are never visible to me.
- Newsletter: your email address, only if you sign up yourself (legal basis: your consent). Every newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, so I can reply to you (legal basis: my legitimate interest in answering your question).
How long I keep your data
- Order details and invoices: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires this.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Messages from the contact form: as long as needed to handle your question, and no longer than 2 years.
Who else receives your data
I never sell your data. I only share what is needed with the parties that help me run this website and shop:
- the payment provider that handles your payment;
- the postal or parcel service that delivers your order;
- the service that sends my emails;
- the hosting provider of this website.
These parties may only use your data for this purpose. Some of them may store data outside the EU; in that case appropriate safeguards apply, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Cookies and embedded content
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your basket, your language and the country you choose are stored only in your own browser.
The music player on the homepage is provided by Spotify, and videos are provided by YouTube. Videos only load when you press play. When you use these players, Spotify or YouTube may collect data and place cookies, according to their own privacy policies.
Security
I take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website uses a secure connection (https), and only I have access to your data.
Your rights
You have the right to see the personal data I have about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to the use of your data or withdraw your consent at any time. Just send me an email. I respond within one month.
Not satisfied with how I handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
